For that reason, our team prides itself on offering the ultimate aftersales service to all our customers, with cover available 24/7, 365 days a year. Our dedicated and experienced mobile service technicians operate fully equipped vehicles and can visit your location to efficiently assist you with everything from tail lift servicing, weight tests and LOLER testing, to body inspections, electrical repairs, breakdown support and recovery.
Vehicle recovery & parts service
If you’re on the roadside and the vehicle can’t be repaired then and there, don’t worry – we’ll take you where you need to go or, if possible, even loan you a courtesy car! In the meantime, we’ll bring your vehicle back to our depot where parts can either be repaired by our in-house fabrication department, or replaced through our Parts Service.

Tail Lift Servicing
Whether your vehicle has a column lift or chassis mount type of tail lift, it will obviously sustain a huge amount of pressure during its lifetime; wear and tear can occur on everything from handrails and ramps to trolley stops and even hydraulic unions, causing them to leak. Ensuring the safety of you, or your vehicle operator is of paramount importance and may also help to avoid costly litigation.
Investing in regular maintenance means you can resolve most major problems, or even prevent them from occurring. Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd is approved by all major tail lift manufacturers for service and warranty repairs and, in line with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) our trained technicians can carry out a rigorous inspection of the equipment at a minimum of 6 monthly intervals, or more depending on its usage. We will subsequently provide you with a thorough report of each examination to certify that the tail lift is fit for purpose.
