The company is one the of UK’s leading providers of commercial and specialist vehicle services, located in Burstwick, near Hull in East Yorkshire.

The candidate will be part of a team maintaining the stores warehouse activities and ensure consistent quality standards are met, in line with company policies.

Responsibilities

· To ensure goods are receipted quickly and accurately, highlighting any discrepancies

· To select customer orders and make available for dispatch

· To organise safe storage and transportation of goods, adhering to industry and company guidelines

· To assist with pre picking goods to feed the busy workshop facilities

· To monitor and control stock, trends and shortages to maximise productivity

· To ensure all packaging waste is disposed of in line with company policy

· To maintain a clean and safe working environment to health and safety standards

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Vehicle parts experience preferred, but not essential
• Manual handling of goods
• A good work ethic, capable of working alone or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• A competent and licensed forklift driver

Salary & Benefits

· Salary to be negotiated dependant on experience.

· 21 days holiday, plus bank holidays- extending to 22 after 5 years’ service.
